An Introduction to Sashiko Stitches (Lunch Included!)

Join Mariko Sugimori (www.MonaZoeMending.com) for an introduction to a traditional Japanese textile repair technique known as Sashiko (“little stabs”). In this 2.5 hour workshop, you will learn about the history of Sashiko as well as make Sashiko stitch samplers. This hand-stitching process allows the maker to slow down from this busy and chaotic life in an almost meditative way.
